What shall we say about this day?

There's Saturday Night Live, Saturday Night Fever and the Saturday Evening Post!

In The Godfather, Michael Corleone says to Apollonia, “It's safer to teach you English,” and she replies, “I know English . . . Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, Saturday!”

We may add that Saturday is named after Saturn, the pale yellow planet tinted with orange and adorned by beautiful gold bands.

By free association, the color yellow, In ancient Egypt, was linked with gold – considered imperishable, eternal and indestructible. In Asian cultures, yellow connotes happiness, glory, wisdom and harmony. In the West, yellow is paired with spontaneity, gentleness and amusement. Yellow flowers symbolize friendship and happiness.

So again by free association, we present Saturday, embellished with playful squiggles, shapes and lines in red, black, blue and white, all happily dancing on a field resplendent with the dazzling yellows of marigolds, dandelions, pineapples, curries, mustards and gorgeous golds!
